Brownsville, TX., United States (4E) – US Border Patrol agents discovered a migrant boy, aged 3, in the Rio Grande Valley.
He was alone and crying after reportedly being stranded when migrants he was with were encountered by agents.
“We believe the boy was with a larger group that ran when they encountered agents,” the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) tweeted.
The boy’s shoes had his phone number and name penned on them, according to officials.
Agents then supervised the youngster and are trying to locate his familly after taking him to Fort Brown border station.
The boy is in good condition and the US Department of Health and Human Services will take custody of him in the meantime.
